Founded in 2001 by winemaking couple Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, the Wine & Soul company has been investing and buying old vines and properties in the Pinhão River valley.
The couple aims to create wines that express the full character of the Douro's old vines and indigenous grape varieties, seeking a balance between concentration, complexity, and elegance.
