It is in the sub-region of Chaves, between the Tâmega and Ribeira de Oura valleys, of the Trás-os-Montes wine region, that the vineyards of Palmeirim d'Inglaterra are planted, on granite soils, with a sandy and schist texture. The current owners of the property come from families long rooted in these lands and wanted to preserve the memory of their ancestors, producing quality wines that, in articulation with other activities, would dignify the culture of this unique territory. Palmeirim d'Inglaterra white wine from the 2020 harvest is elegant, with good intensity and complexity, highlighting aromas of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, white flowers and ripe tropical fruits, complemented by light mineral notes.
