Pêra Velha Grande Reserva 2020 is a red wine from the Alentejo, made from Petit Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in granite soils. Deep and inky in colour, it reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruit, including black plum and blackberry, complemented by notes of black pepper, spice and cocoa. Full-bodied and complex, it combines firm yet smooth tannins with balanced acidity, leading to an elegant, lingering finish. Aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels, it offers depth, refinement and excellent ageing potential.

The Quinta de São José de Peramanca is located 5 kilometres from Évora, on Estrada Nacional 114, and is easily identifiable thanks to the large and traditional houses, marked by Baroque architecture and the church of São José adjacent to it.

The property was acquired by the Grave family in 1912, remaining until today, now managed by João Grave, and has 34 hectares, where about 15.5 hectares are, exclusively, oriented to the cultivation of vines for wine production.
