The Quinta da Escusa is a red wine produced from the Castelão grape variety, presenting an intense ruby colour, elegant aromas of small red fruits, with some balsamic vegetable notes of great freshness, mint nuances and slight toast of the ageing wood. In the mouth, it surprises with its lively acidity, as well as the polished and well-integrated tannins.
The Quinta da Escusa extends over 10 hectares, which connects the rural villages of Quintas and Vale de Barco, in which the ancestors of the current owners were born.
