Quinta de Beiredos Grande Escolha white wine is produced from the Avesso variety and aged for 9 months in stainless steel vats before bottling. It has a citrus colour, with a strong presence of tropical fruit aromas, such as banana. The ageing time gives it a structured body in the mouth and a perfect balance of acidity.
The Quinta de Beiredos, recovered more than 30 years ago by the old owners, was already known for the good maturity and quality of its grapes. Located in Santa Cruz do Douro, this Quinta has contributed to the affirmation of this sub-region of Baião, with its excellent wines and sparkling wines. In 2016, the farm was acquired by a new owner who requalified the winery and maintained the traditions of wine production.
