2020 Tapada de Coelheiros red
概要
Tapada de Coelheiros Tinto 2020 is a classic Alentejo red, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet grapes sourced from the Leonilde and Sobreira vineyards.
Deep ruby in colour with garnet highlights, it reveals a complex and elegant nose of blackberry, cassis, spice, cedar and delicate notes of vanilla. Full-bodied and structured, it displays well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, complemented by hints of dark chocolate and a long, persistent finish with notes of coffee and toasted wood. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels and a further 36 months in bottle, it develops a silky texture and greater complexity.
Created in 1981, Herdade dos Coelheiros is a family business that, through the years has achieved recognition for producing wines of unquestionable quality, both nationally and internationally. This history of excellence began with the launch of the first wine labeled Tapada de Coelheiros in 1991.
Herdade dos Coelheiros, located in the municipality of Arraiolos, known for its embroiderers who make one of the most beautiful typical handicrafts of Portugal, the famous Tapetes de Arraiolos, decided to pay tribute to the cultural identity of this land in the labels of its wines.
