概要

Telmo Rodríguez Pegaso Arrebatacapas red is a treasure of just over 2 hectares, planted in 1953 at an altitude of 1050 meters, and the vineyard was recovered in 1999. Produced from the Grenache grape variety, the alcoholic fermentation was carried out by indigenous yeasts, and it was later aged for 12 months in used barrels, which allowed maximizing the expression of the Gredos region.

Cebreros is a crossing point between the north and south, where the Imperial Way and the Cañada Real intersect. In the past, it was a centre for glass production and in the 19th century, viticulture became essential. In 1999, Telmo Rodríguez recovered the Garnacha (also known as Grenache) vineyards on the slopes of Arrebatacapas, the most important slate landscape in all of Gredos, producing Pegaso Barrancos de Pizarra. Today, Cebreros is an international category, where our Barrancos de Pizarra and Granito wines express the singularity of this extreme place.
