2021 Maritávora N.º 4 Reserva organic red

Maritávora No. 4 Reserva Organic red is crafted from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and other traditional Douro grape varieties sourced from mature vineyards. The wine is fermented by foot treading in traditional granite lagares before being aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, developing greater complexity, elegance and ageing potential.

It offers an intense and harmonious profile, where vibrant fruit is beautifully complemented by the depth and structure gained through oak ageing. On the palate, it displays well-integrated tannins, excellent balance and an enveloping texture that reflects the authenticity of the Douro terroir.

The finish is long, persistent and elegant, highlighting the character of the vineyards and the estate's commitment to organic viticulture.
