The Borges Alvarinho is a white wine produced exclusively from the Alvarinho grape variety. With a clear and citrus colour with greenish reflections, it presents a fresh and complex aroma, marked by notes of jasmine and orange blossom, wrapped in citric and tropical aromas such as passion fruit, and hints of lime and peppermint. On the palate, it presents a distinct complexity and unique smoothness, conferred by ageing on fine lees. With a vibrant freshness and good volume, wrapped in nuances of tropical fruit, it stands out for the excellent balance between acidity and alcohol, longevity, and authenticity.

Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco, the Borges Wine Society quickly became one of the main national wine companies.
