2022 Sparkling Wine Berbereta Reserva Brut Nature

The Sparkling Wine Berbereta Reserva Brut Nature is produced from Arinto and Chardonnay grapes, sourced from vineyards cultivated using sustainable practices and certified under Integrated Production standards. It presents a citrine colour with golden hues, fine bubbles, and an intense, persistent mousse. Aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit, spicy notes, and a hint of toast combine with a mineral and fresh profile. On the palate, it is creamy, full-bodied, and intense.

The Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, during the first half of the 18th century, and remained in the same family until the second half of the 20th century. The current owners acquired it at the start of this century. The property’s 20-hectare vineyard is planted in clay soils, influenced by the natural microclimate of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo foothills, and is located about 20 km from the Atlantic Ocean. This unirrigated vineyard exhibits unique characteristics, unmatched freshness, and a natural salinity, marking its wines with distinctiveness.
