2022 Taboadella Caementa rosé

Taboadella Caementa rosé, produced exclusively from the Tinta Roriz grape variety, revives the tradition of cement winemaking (caementa in Latin) in the Dão region, resulting in a wine with greater aromatic clarity and plenty of persistence, showing the expression of Taboadella's unique terroir. Ageing in French oak barrels gave it a perfect balance between vibrant acidity and textured body. Of great elegance, it is characterised by fine aromas of fresh fruit and a long finish.

The Silvã de Cima wine press, located next to the Taboadella vineyard, emerges from the monolithic rocky crag, representing one of the oldest traces of winemaking in the Dão. This unique location contrasts with the contemporary winery, whose architecture is designed with natural materials such as wood and cork. A balcony offers a panoramic view, encompassing the magnificent expanse of vineyards surrounded by a vast forest.

In this harmonious environment, where past and future intertwine, the wines come to life in the vineyard and the landscape. Meticulous care and dedicated patience make it possible to recapture the essence of nature from the past, while at the same time projecting the production of exceptional wines for the future.
