The Tojeira Grande Reserva red wine, produced from the Vinhão, Amaral (also known as Azal Tinto) and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, is ruby red in colour and has a complex aroma, with notes of vanilla and chocolate harmoniously integrated with red and wild fruits. On the palate, it has good structure, soft tannins, balanced acidity, good volume and a long finish.

Located on a private estate in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Casa da Tojeira, a beautiful 17th century mansion, has been renovated and adapted for wine production. The property extends over 20 hectares dedicated not only to the cultivation of vines, but also to leisure activities.

Due to its location, the vineyards are in the Basto sub-region of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, which allows for the production of genuine wines full of personality.
