2023 Câmbio Blanc de Noirs Grande Escolha white

Câmbio Blanc de Noir Grande Escolha white is crafted exclusively from the Aragonês grape variety, resulting in a distinctive wine that showcases an original expression of this red grape. Following fermentation, it is aged for one month in French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity and elegance.

It displays a bright, almost transparent appearance with delicate amber highlights. The nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit, lychee and green apple, complemented by mineral nuances and a subtle herbal note. On the palate, it is smooth and well-rounded, with generous body and balanced acidity, creating an elegant and harmonious profile.

The finish is fresh, long and persistent, highlighting the uniqueness of this Blanc de Noir.

Pitada Verde is a family-owned winery established in 2009 in the heart of Ribatejo, dedicated to producing quality wines in Portugal's Tejo Wine Region. With around 30 hectares of vineyards spread across the three Tejo sub-regions (Bairro, Charneca and Campo) the estate takes advantage of the area's diverse terroirs to craft authentic and well-balanced wines.

All grapes are grown under Integrated Production certification, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture. In the winery, gravity-fed winemaking techniques minimise mechanical intervention, preserving the purity of the fruit and the expression of each grape variety. Under the guidance of winemaker João Pedro Batista, each variety is vinified separately, resulting in wines that faithfully express the identity and richness of the Tejo region.
