Founded in 1864 by the patriarch of the Douro family, Bernardo Rodrigues de Carvalho, Quinta de Santa Eufémia is currently managed by the fourth generation of the family. Actualy they produce and sell port wines, table wines and olive oil. Situated on the south bank of the Douro river, over more than 45 hectares of vineyards, produce grapes of the richest varieties whose wine is made in granite mills, traditionally trodden. The aging of wine is made in oak casks, proceeding then to a selection to find the perfect lots.
