The ginjinha is a liqueur made from the fermentation of sour cherry (a fruit similar to cherry), soaked in brandy. Then mixed sugar and cinnamon stick. It is a widely consumed liquor in Portugal (very famous in Lisbon, Obidos, Alcobaça and Algarve).
