Quinta das Carvalhas Tawny 40 Years Old is an exceptional blend of carefully selected mature Ports, aged in oak casks over several decades. Deep in colour, it displays remarkable aromatic complexity, with notes of iodine, dried apricot and toasted aromas. Refined and silky on the palate, it offers a rich, smooth texture and a long finish, with a subtle tannic impression from its extended ageing in wood. A Port of great elegance and freshness, balancing the intensity of age with harmony and finesse in an expression of ageing brought to perfection.
