Wines produced using an innovative approachThe wine producer Castell d'Encús is located in the Encús mountains in the Pallars region of Spain. The property has a history dating back to the 12th century when the monks of the Hospitaler Order established a village in this region. The monks also built nine stone-carved fermentation tanks, which are still used today for wine production.
The current winery was founded in 2002 with the aim of recovering the history and tradition of wine production in this region. The winery is managed according to the principles of organic viticulture, and the wines are produced in small batches to ensure quality and uniqueness.
