Founded in 1964, Sociedade Vinícola de Palmela is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries on the Setúbal Peninsula, recognised for its wines of excellence. Based on the Castelão and Moscatel de Setúbal grape varieties, as well as other national and international varieties, it produces a wide range of wines - whites, rosés, reds and liqueurs - from grapes grown in 400 hectares of vineyards, located on the clay-limestone soils of Arrábida and the sands of Palmela.
