A. H. Riise Port Cask presents a beautiful dark mahogany colour with a ruby red hue. It has a unique and slightly spicy taste, revealing vanilla notes and a nice fruity finish with subtle notes of berries and port wine, due to its 6 months of ageing in Port wine barrels, from the famous producer Cálem.
Albert Heinrich Riise was a Danish pharmacist who settled on the island of St. Thomas, a former Danish colony. This rum is distilled in the US Virgin Islands.
