Terras de Viriato is produced from the grape varieties Tinta Roriz, Jaen, Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro. It presents a garnet colour and a complex aroma with notes of forest fruits. The palate is smooth and elegant, with a good balance between alcohol and acidity. It has a finish with good persistence, showing the characteristics of the grape varieties present.

The wine company Caves Campelo is based between barcelos and Famalicão, in the demarcated region of Vinhos Verdes. In progressive growth, Caves Campelo bet on a renovation of the facilities as well as the expansion of the business with the production of wine also in the Douro and Dão regions. The year 2007 was the year of the necessary turnaround and today, under the command of Rui Miranda, head of the export department, Reinaldo Pinho, oenologist in charge, and Óscar Lima, one of the owners and head of the logistics department, the company is moving towards success and innovation.
