2021 Maritávora N.º 1 Grande Reserva organic white

Maritávora No. 1 Grande Reserva Organic white is crafted from a vineyard over 130 years old, planted with Códega do Larinho, Rabigato, Viosinho and other traditional Douro grape varieties. The wine is fermented in used French oak barrels and aged for six months, including three months of bâtonnage, enhancing its texture and complexity.

It displays an elegant and profound profile, where the freshness and minerality typical of old vines are beautifully complemented by the subtle influence of oak. On the palate, it offers excellent volume, a refined texture and balanced acidity, resulting in a wine of remarkable precision and sophistication.

The finish is long, persistent and harmonious, reflecting the unique character of this centenarian vineyard and the authenticity of its organic viticulture.
