Ruelas Reserva red wine is made from the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Syrah grape varieties. It presents an excellent structure and elegance, in a blend of two of the most prestigious Portuguese grape varieties with the French Syrah. A short stage in wood gave it complexity and roundness.

Quinta do Gradil has been referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vines and wine became part of the economic activity of the estate. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments happened when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into an agricultural reference business, focusing on wine production. Several years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese reference in the world and is now led by Luís Vieira.
