Description
José Maria da Fonseca launched the Moscatel de Setúbal 1911 as part of the celebrations of its 180 anniversary. Out of the 180 bottles, 100 were sold during an auction at the cellars in December 2014.
This wine has also been distinguished by the WINE magazine, as the best wine of the year. It was rated 19.5 points, out of 20 possible and was described as “deeply aromatic, with enormous finesse and elegancy and an incredibly long, emotional, fresh and concentrated aftertaste”.
