Description

The Altas Quintas Reserva White is an elegant wine produced from old vines in the Portalegre sub-region, where granite soils lend freshness and distinctive character. It offers aromas of stone fruit, quince and apricot, complemented by fresh herbal notes, flinty minerality and subtle hints of oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet beautifully balanced by vibrant citrus acidity, leading to a long, persistent finish with excellent ageing potential.

The Altas Quintas project was born from the desire to make wines with different characteristics in the Alentejo for demanding connoisseurs. The difference of its wines begins in the location of the vines that give rise to them, planted on a plateau at an altitude of 600 metres, in the heart of the Alentejo. Allied to the terroir is also the strongest characteristic of this project: the obsession for difference, always pushing to obtain the maximum quality in the raw material that produces these Alentejo wines.
