Description

This Private Selection white is produced from Síria, Arinto and unidentified grape varieties from a plot of old vines, and after ageing for 12 months in second use French and Hungarian oak barrels, it spends about 12 months in the bottle. It has a citrine yellow colour, revealing on the nose floral and fruity aromas such as peach, harmonised with vanilla notes. In the mouth it is full, fresh and vibrant.

The Adega do Fundão is founded in 1949 by the hands of 30 winegrowers from the Beira Interior region and is located in Cova da Beira, a vine-growing area dating back to the 2nd century and the Roman settlements of that time.

The vineyards are planted along the Serra da Gardunha, which allows the production of grapes that give the wines a richness, freshness and exuberance without equal.
