Eisele Vineyard Altagracia Cabernet Sauvignon is an organic red wine that elegantly expresses the identity of the Eisele Vineyard terroir through a selection of parcels in the eastern part of the estate. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, accounting for 90%, and Austrian oak foudres, representing the remaining 10%, it achieves a harmonious combination of ripe fruit and refined spicy notes.
The nose is highly fragrant and expressive, with floral notes of dried rose petals, wild strawberry, redcurrant and cranberry, complemented by nuances of pink pepper and sandalwood. On the palate, it is round and silky, revealing subtle flavours of black tea, cinnamon, orange peel and cocoa. Tightly knit tannins coat the palate, leading to a long and persistent finish marked by notes of aniseed.
