VIK Milla Cala Millahue red is a Chilean wine from the Cachapoal Valley, crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. The vineyards grow in deep, well-drained decomposed granitic soils under a temperate Mediterranean climate with marine influence. The wine is aged for 20 months in French oak “Barroir” barrels toasted with oak sourced from the estate.
On the nose, it shows remarkable complexity, combining red and black fruit with hints of spice, mineral nuances and delicate floral notes. The palate offers structure and depth, with well-integrated tannins and an elegant texture, resulting in a balanced and expressive wine that reflects the unique terroir of Millahue.
