Description

The Riesling grapes, sourced from a recently planted vineyard, were carefully hand-harvested. The fermentation was carried out with temperature control in traditional old oak barrels, using indigenous yeasts to preserve the authentic character of the terroir. The result is a complex and elegant Dry Riesling, with captivating aromas of pear, mirabelle plum, cardamom, and delicate smoky notes. The finish is marked by a subtle touch of spices and aromatic herbs, giving it exceptional depth and freshness.

After the first documented purchase of a vineyard parcel in Brauneberg on April 17th, 1643, the company was officially founded in 1680, establishing a winemaking legacy with over 300 years of history. Since then, the family has adhered to the motto: "Great wines are made in the vineyard, not in the cellar." In 1774, an elegant manor house was built, and in 1880, the modern winery was established, housing one of the largest collections of wooden casks in the Mosel region. Today, the company is in its 9th generation, with Constantin MF Richter, from the 10th generation, actively involved in the business since 2012.
