Description
The organic white Tapada de Coelheiros is produced from Arinto and Roupeiro, offering a vibrant and authentic expression of the Alentejo. On the nose, it reveals notes of grapefruit, lime and white-fleshed fruit, complemented by a subtle vegetal touch that adds freshness.
On the palate, it shows firm, bright acidity, balanced by a creamy, full texture. The combination of both grape varieties results in a tense, precise profile with a persistent, lightly saline finish that extends the sense of freshness.
Created in 1981, Herdade dos Coelheiros is a family business that, through the years has achieved recognition for producing wines of unquestionable quality, both nationally and internationally. This history of excellence began with the launch of the first wine labeled Tapada de Coelheiros in 1991.
Herdade dos Coelheiros, located in the municipality of Arraiolos, known for its embroiderers who make one of the most beautiful typical handicrafts of Portugal, the famous Tapetes de Arraiolos, decided to pay tribute to the cultural identity of this land in the labels of its wines.
