Rio Frio, in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, held what was considered the "largest vineyard in the world" with its 4,000 hectares. This historical reality gave rise to a set of values and images that still exist today and are well present in the building of Mount RIO FRIO. The size of the Rio Frio vineyard production, which reached 20 million liters, its economic and social importance in the development of the region, the culture and habits that are generated around it, constitute an enormous wealth of this territory.
