Quinta do Boição is located in Bucelas, next to the Boição stream, within the renowned Bucelas Demarcated Region, between the banks of the Boição stream and the River Trancão. The estate covers a total area of 45 hectares, of which 32.5 hectares are dedicated to vineyard cultivation.
Committed to a quality-driven approach to wine production, Caves Velhas, which would later become part of the Enoport Wines Group, decided to acquire Quinta do Boição in May 1983, having long purchased the estate’s production from its previous owners.
