2012 Casa de Santar Oito Parcelas red
Description
The Casa de Santa Oito Parcelas red wine is crafted from a meticulous selection of grapes sourced from eight distinct plots, harvested at the peak of ripeness. Following 24 months’ ageing in French oak barrels, followed by a long period of bottle ageing, it reveals a profile of great precision and elegance. It has an intense garnet colour with slight brownish hues and a complex aroma, marked by notes of spices, dried fruit and subtle smoky undertones. On the palate, it is silky, structured and deep, with remarkable persistence, reflecting the nobility and ageing potential of the great wines of the Dão.
