Wine Produced in Region Carcavelos with Alcohol Volume (%) 19.5. Very old Fortified wine, has a slight aroma but very thin, unlike all the other generous. Very delicate, slight dried fruit, elegant and dry mouth, but with a long and soft taste. This wine was produced by the Marquis of Pombal in xv century in Oeiras, than enjoying them so integrated a gift from D. Joseph I to the court of Peking in 1752. Region with a temperate Mediterranean climate without large temperature fluctuations due to the proximity of the sea, produces a Fortified Wine Quality and tradition entitled to specific mention of "fortified wine".
