2017 Madre de Água Touriga Nacional red
概要
Produced from Toruiga Nacional grape variety, whose vines are planted at 580m altitude, this wine presents itself distinctive and sophisticated, where its spicy aroma stands out, making ripe fruit and margaças notes stand out in the mouth.
The Quinta Madre de Água is located at the foot of Serra da Estrela and was inaugurated in 2007, with the couple Luís and Lurdes returning to their origins, through a sustained project that respects nature, man, arts and traditions.
With about 16 hectares of vineyard, whose average age is around 40 years old, the Quinta produces a varied range of blend and single-varietal wines. In addition to the vineyard, there is also olive-growing, fruit-growing, cheese-production and a boutique hotel with restaurant, covering a total area of 60 hectares.
