2017 Scala Coeli Alicante Bouschet Reserva red

ID: 6012508

As it is an exclusive wine with high evolution potential it deserved the designation of Reserva. It is produced from the Alicante Bouschet grape variety and aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels and 24 months in the bottle.

Scala Coeli owes its name to the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli, commonly known as the Cartuxa Monastery, a place where the Carthusian monks lived in silence and prayer.

The Scala Coeli brand is based on the best vinifications of each year, of grape varieties less traditional to the Alentejo, with the first wine appearing in 2011.
