This Chablis Blanchot is a Grand Cru produced from the Chardonnay grape variety from a 35-year-old vineyard planted on clay-limestone soils. After vinification, part of the wine is aged in French oak barrels from the Allier forest for a period of 10 to 12 months and then transferred to stainless steel tanks to complete the stabilisation process. The wine then undergoes light filtration before bottling, so as not to over-cleanse its exuberant aromas.

So this wine presents itself with yellow colour with greenish nuances, a floral nose, and in the mouth it reveals itself to be round with a mineral finish.

Domaine Daniel Dampt & Fils has over 150 years of history in the practice of viticulture, being a 30-hectare estate located in the Burgundy region and producer of Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, of which in particular Vaillons, Fourchaume, Côte de Lechet, Les Lys and Beauroy.
