This is a monovarietal red wine obtained from the traditional Douro grape variety Tinta Roriz, which after 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, reveals a nose rich in aromas of ripe fruit and spices, full-body, and firm tannins. This is a gastronomic wine.

One of the most prestigious Quintas in the Douro is Quinta do Vallado, a Quinta that once belonged to D. Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, the Ferreirinha, and which is still in the hands of her descendants today.

Built in 1716, Quinta do Vallado stands out as one of the oldest in the Douro. It is situated right next to Régua, on the banks of the Corgo River. The fate of this emblematic Quinta is in the hands of João Alves Ribeiro and Francisco Ferreira, both descendants of Ferreirinha, and responsible for the management of the company and oenology, respectively.
