Cova da Beira red is produced from Rufete, Tinta Amarela, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, and it presents a ruby color with aromas of red fruit and wild berries, complemented by hints of resin and harmonized with cocoa. On the palate, freshness is constant, with a structured and polished tannin profile.

The Adega do Fundão is founded in 1949 by the hands of 30 winegrowers from the Beira Interior region and is located in Cova da Beira, a vine-growing area dating back to the 2nd century and the Roman settlements of that time.

The vineyards are planted along the Serra da Gardunha, which allows the production of grapes that give the wines a richness, freshness and exuberance without equal.
