With a gentle maceration and aging in new and used French oak barrels, the red wine Clarete Quinta dos Termos Reserva reveals a light ruby colour and a delicate aroma of wild plants and fresh hay, combined with a touch of smokiness. Round tannins and balanced freshness lead to a palate of remarkable volume. It is gastronomically suited for grilled meats and light meals.

Facing away from the Serra da Estrela, with a southern exposure on a moderately steep slope and sheltered to the north by the mountain that defines it, Quinta dos Termos has its own terroir that unmistakably influences the wines produced there.

With its unique microclimate and poor soils that naturally discipline the more productive varieties, traditional grape varieties of the Beira Interior are cultivated there, which, combined with the excellence of nature and rigorous analytical control, result in captivating and surprising nectars.
