With a bright appearance and citrus yellow colour, this white wine has a fine and elegant aroma, where clear notes of white fruit are surrounded by mineral notes from the clay-limestone soil. In the mouth it is voluminous.

Located in the parish of Vacariça, in the municipality of Mealhada, Quinta do Valdoeiro was acquired by the Messias family in the 1940s.

As of 1985, Messias, whose crucial strategy was to control the raw material for the production of high quality wines, carried out the gradual conversion of Quinta do Valdoeiro's vineyards.

Currently covering 130 hectares, 70 of which are dedicated to wine-growing, the property is included in an integrated protection zone, in which the vine's enemies are combated using ecologically safe methods.
