The Vigno white wine is produced from the typical Dão grape variety, Encruzado. Harmonious, with notes of fruit and aromatic herbs, it is a discreet wine with hints of dried fruit and smoke from its ageing in barrels. On tasting, it finishes complex, fresh and mineral.

Freire Lobo Wines is based in Oliveira do Hospital, in the demarcated region of Dão. With a work philosophy that respects the vineyard and the character of the wines produced from it, the grape varieties used are traditionally Portuguese, as maintaining the region's identity is fundamental. There is minimal intervention in the winery, resorting to ancestral production methods such as the use of lagares.
