Description

This rare Colheita matured for five decades in cask in Taylor's cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. It has a seductive blondish colour that fades to amber tones and a dry, olive green rim. The nose is fine and delicate, with attractive aromas of hazelnut and marzipan presenting notes of good wood and discreet aromas of marmalade, black pepper, and cinnamon. In the mouth, the wine is round and very full with a smooth and silky texture and soft spicy flavours. It has a long finish with refreshing and lively acidity. Very elegant and well-balanced this exceptional Aged Tawny is ready to drink and is the perfect wine to celebrate your 50th birthday or golden anniversary.
