Produced from the Encruzado grape, it matured for about 7 months in French oak barrels without the use of batônnage. This white wine showcases complex and harmonious aromas, equally revealing a seductive and fresh profile on the palate.
Quinta do Sobral, a family project by Cristina Simões and Jorge Loureiro, is located in the heart of the Dão Wine Region in Vila de Santar, a historical heritage of the region. Here, the tradition of planting vines in poor granite soils amidst pine forests is maintained, as well as the cultivation of traditional grape varieties that define the wines of this estate, which comprises around 15 hectares of vineyards.
