Description

VIK “A” Carmenere Millahue red originates in the Millahue Valley in Chile, where deep decomposed granitic soils and a temperate Mediterranean climate with marine influence create ideal conditions for the expression of Carmenere. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak “Barroir” barrels, toasted with oak sourced from the estate itself.

The nose reveals aromas of black fruits such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by spicy notes and hints of red fruit. On the palate, it shows fine-grained, rounded tannins and an expressive body that remains balanced and elegant. Fresh acidity adds vibrancy, resulting in a complex wine that reflects the unique terroir of Millahue.
