2017 Tranca da Barriga Reserva red
Description
The Tranca da Barriga red is produced from the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Trincadeira, and Jaen grape varieties. The vineyards are cultivated in granitic and limestone-clay soils in the Beira Interior region.
After 6 months of aging in French oak barrels, the wine presents an intense ruby colour with purple nuances, and a harmonious aroma that combines notes of blackberry and wild fruits with fragrances of dried fruits and spices. On the palate, it reveals itself as full and soft, with good consistency and volume. The finish is long and very persistent.
