概要
From a 60-year-old field blend planted with native grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Jaen, Tinto Cão, Rufete, Baga, Alvarelhão, Aragonês among others, Vigno Reserva red is for Freire Lobo Wines, the interpretation of a fine and elegant Dão wine, a wine that shows all the potential and character of a vineyard located on the slopes of Serra da Estrela, planted on granite soils.
Freire Lobo Wines is based in Oliveira do Hospital, in the demarcated Dão region. With a working philosophy that respects the vineyard and the character of the wines produced from it, the grape varieties used are traditionally Portuguese, as maintaining the identity of the region is fundamental. There is minimal intervention in the winery, using ancestral production methods, such as the use of lagares.
