Quinta da Veiga is located on the right bank of the Douro River in the heart of Cima-Corgo, near the village of Ferrão. Its full southern exposure gives it an excellent suitability for the production of high quality wines, also benefiting from a wide view over the Douro River and the vineyards that dominate the valley landscape. The Quinta da Veiga project began in 1986 with the planting of the first vineyards. Quinta da Veiga operates as a Rural Tourism hotel, with 8 double rooms with bathroom, almost all of them with a view to the Douro River. The wines of Quinta da Veiga are exclusively produced with grapes from its property. Quinta da Veiga produces three types of wines: Murzelo, Casa das Mouras and Cerro das Mouras.
